RISK ANALYSIS
GAS PROCESS provides integral solutions to our clients in the management of operational risks, risks associated with the generation of disasters and emergencies in order to ensure the protection of people, the environment, the community and the business image. We have an experienced team of professionals, specialists in all areas of operational safety and risk prevention in the Oil & Gas industry to guarantee levels of safety compatible with your activity, the environment and compliance with the most demanding regulatory requirements.
At GAS PROCESS we help projects to carry out Hazard Identification Study (HAZID), Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) in order to know variables associated with new operations or changes in existing processes or updating of the infrastructure.
It will be possible to know in detail the behavior of events such as: explosions, Flashfire, Poolfire, Jetfire, Bleve, dangerous atmospheres and spills of dangerous substances in any type of facility or process that allow quantifying the social and individual risk of an operation.
Our experience in the Oil & Gas sector will allow you to support decisions for your strategic planning, location and design of facilities and detailed risk and safety assessments of facilities.
The main points developed by GAS PROCESS related to the Safety Management System are indicated below.
- Risk Assessment and Management
- Management of Change
- Incident Investigation and Analysis
- Community Awareness and Emergency Preparedness
- Operations Integrity Assessment and Improvement
The risk assessments developed by GAS PROCESS are fundamentally based on the criteria of tolerable risk, particularly the ALARP principle, which stands for “as low as reasonably practicable”, or ALARA (“as low as reasonably achievable”), is a premise often used in the regulation and management of safety-critical and safety-involved systems. The ALARP principle is that the residual risk shall be reduced as far as reasonably practicable.
For the execution of the risk studies through the ALARP criteria, graphs are used that show the probability of occurrence scenarios (frequency) and the severity of the consequences.
Our Operational Risk Analysis service is focused on the different projects developed in the Oil & Gas field. We jointly manage the implementation of risk prevention controls that allow the elimination or treatment of incidents that may negatively impact the productivity and profitability of your project.
